2020 Memories to cherish (Ad)
It feels like the events of 2020 pilfered so much sometimes but I keep hearing how much in this time too we actually gained (and not just some lbs!).
Last year I created a photo book with bonusprint containing all our 2019 highlights, and it sits in our living room where the kids regularly lift it out. It’s a lovely souvenir that helps ground them, and gives us family stories to reminisce about.
2020 was *very* different but within that time as a family we all watched Martha as she grew from tiny baby to little toddler, magically changing month by month. We created so many precious memories together at home, made the most of adventures closer to where we live and, like many families, cherished the extra time together (as challenging as they were at times!).
My phone and camera now brim with heartwarming shots that will become even more precious as the years go by, and while it’s great to choose some individually for display, I’ve just too many amazing photos for a few frames scattered around.
This past year could be said to have been more challenging than anyone has ever experienced in a lifetime, and yet...for us and so many others it’s also contained some truly joyous moments with our little ones.
I really wanted to capture everything in one place, share the memories with others and continue our story.
My parents were first in line for this year’s volume; after all my girls are their pride and joy too! Mum adored looking through the previous one, and the quality of the book is so exceptionally high that it makes a beautiful present. It almost makes up for her missing out on their wee antics in person. Sharing these moments with friends and family in such a lovely way helps forge bonds when it’s difficult to see each other properly.
I chose a large glossy portrait book, again from bonusprint and it is absolutely stunning, they are currently offering an incredible 50% discount on photo books with the code ANNAPB50 and it is linked here.
I hope you have lots of fun creating your photo book and many smiles are brought to your face as you look back upon the good times of 2020.
